Tomash is recognized for his early pioneering work with computer equipment peripherals. He also lead the creation of the Charles Babbage Institute. With his bookplate to the front pastedown. ESTC reference no: T25325. Rebound, with renewed endpapers. Written by Benjamin Martin, a lecturer on science and maker of scientific instruments. His first work 'The Philosophical Grammar' was an epitome of various branches in natural philosophy. He also wrote works on arithmetic, trigonometry, geometry, and optics. Later in life, he embarked on the periodical 'The general magazine of arts and sciences, philosophical, philological, mathematical and mechanical'. Closed tear to the centre of the folding plate, encroaching onto figure VII. Tables to pages 168-171 and to the entirety of part III.
