This medium-sized hard cover book (6 ¼ x 8 ¾ inches, 288 pages and 32 pages of illustrations) was published by the John C. Winston Company of Chicago, Philadelphia and Toronto dated 1928 and the First Edition. It is bound in sturdy dark green cloth boards with a full-page paste-down color image on the cover of The Spirit of St. Louis in the air. The book is nicely illustrated with 16 double-sided pages of vintage b&w photos and a few other diagrams and maps. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are clean and bright and the paste-down image is very presentable without nicks or damage. The corners and spine tips are lightly bumped but the spine is bright and will shine on your bookshelf. Inside the book is unmarked but there is some light toning to the endpapers probably from the acids of the binding glues.
