Self Published by the author in 1998, this is a very scarce book being a photographic journey along the River Tern in Shropshire, the river rises north-east of Market Drayton in the north of the county. The source of the Tern is the lake in the grounds of Maer Hall, Staffordshire. The river passes Market Drayton, Tern Hill, Stoke on Tern, Peplow, Great Bolas, Waters Upton, Crudgington, Longdon upon Tern, Isombridge, Attingham Park, and joining the River Severn about half way between Wroxeter and Atcham. A well-illustrated hardback 10 inches tall approx., 40 pages Slight bumps to spine ends else in very good condition.

Published in 1803, this is a nice antique engraving of the aqueduct carrying the Shrewsbury Canal over the River Tern at Longdon-on-Tern in Shropshire which was engineered by Thomas Telford, the folding engraving measures 24cm by 21cm approx., some foxing to edges else in good condition.
