This is the true first edition printed in Canada not USA. 1935 book by Gordon Sinclair that describes his travels from Devil's Island to the jungles of West Africa, a region often called "The White Man's Grave". The book is a travelogue about this journey and features illustrations from photographs. DJ is mostly intact but price clipped, chipped, torn, and missing a few pieces. Green boards show some sun fading. Minor corner bumping. Binding tight and square. 267 interior pages crisp and clean.
