Manuscript / Paper Collectible First Edition
No Binding. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. RARE. Advertising card for "A Specimen Sheet for the "Lost" Goudy Types". Printed on Eastern's ATLANTIC COVER, White, Antique Finish, Double thick. Designed by Howard Coggeshall. The front of the card talks about the publication of the Specimen Sheet and gives some history on Goudy and Coggeshall. The back side lists Eastern's Mill Brand Lines and Merchants. Near Fine, small discoloration below title front side.

Second edition. 8 pp. + 16 pp. type specimen catalog (facsimile reprint of "A Specimen of Types Designed and Engraved at the Village Press, 1938" bound in; octavo, staple-bound lavender wraps with gilt cover ornament. Edition of 75 copies "sponsored by Jeff Craemer and produced especially in celebration of the Annual Election of Officers and 'Show and Tell' Program of the Sacramento Book Collectors Club in Sacramento California, on January 8, 1993." (from colophon). An earlier edition of 125 copies was printed in Sept., 1992 for the Twenty-first Joint Meeting of the Roxburghe Club and Zamorano Club on Aept. 19th & 20th. OCLC/WorldCat finds only 1 library holding of this Sacramento edition, there are 8 copies of the San Francisco edition found.
