" Dat Lucebert niet alleen een zeer belangrijk dichter is 'wat we allemaal weten' maar dat hij ook een belangrijk schilder en tekenaar is, weten zij die zijn tentoonstellingen in het Amsterdamse Stedelijk Museum, de Haarlemse Gallerie Espace en het Schiedamsch Stedelijk Museum zagen.
