The book is the story of his providing the leadership to put Winn-Dixie together and his specialty was controlling expenses. Perhaps J. E.'s finest hour, also described in the book, is when he single-handedly convinced Mayo Clinic to build their first-ever branch in Jacksonville, Florida. It took years of persuading, pressure, and inducements that only he could do. Unfortunately, he passed on in the Spring of 1993, just a couple of years after signing this book. Signed By the Author.
