Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. illustrated (illustrator). Colorful boards are well-bound; illustration on front panel is Biffo the Bear & Koko fighting before a taxi, all other characters filling in the scenery. Boards: spine is sunned, but titling is clear & bright, some rubbing along edges & a small piece of the paper on the upper front corner is rubbed off., some soil from handling. Pages are clean, the first few are tanned, no tears.

Hardcover. Condition: Poor. 127 p. 27 cm. Numerous b&w and partial colour illustrations. Pictorial hardcover. From our As Is shelf. Spine missing, edges worn, boards soiled. "This Book Belongs to" filled out inside front cover. Pages loosening and first two leaves detached. Page 7-8 missing. Some rough edges with small tears.

Front cover showing Biffo the Bear with a Taxi shows light soiling on the yellow section and the surface of the blue section gently scuffed; similar light soiling to yellow rear panel displaying a seal and fish; bright red spine, lettered in yellow and black, slightly rubbed on all edges; four front corners slightly rubbed. Internally gift inscription in top corner of front pastedown dated 1949 and 'belongs to' box filled in with name and address. Contents clean but page 99/100 torn and repaired on either side with clear tape 3 cm x 12 cm. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Pictorial hardcover rubbed and stained in places, corners bumped and chipped, spine worn exposing binding along edges, closed tears and chips along spine, ends bumped and chipped, closed edges browned, internal gutters cracked exposing binding, 'This Book Belongs to - ' with ink inscription, pages loose in string binding, numerous black/white and partial colour illustrations.sellotape repair to head/foot of several pages, illustration part coloured in on pages 11, 17, 32, some spotting/browning to reading edges of pages, closed tears to foot of many pages, pages 31/32, 49/50, 71/72, 89/90 and 111/112 detached from binding, chipped along edges, sellotape repair to page 69/70 with closed tear to reading edge, ink markings to page 91, page 113/114 partly detached from binding, text clear to read, illustrations clear and bright.
