Pottle, Yale University, June 1936 in ink on title page. 16pp., plus 6 folding charts showing quotations from the poets in parallel format, the last with Pottle's ink note across top left corner. There is also a correction in red on page nine crossing out September and substituting June at right margin. Octavo; bound in roughly stapled gray wrappers printed in red, with 1.5" split to covers at each end of spine; tanning to edges; covers a bit rumpled. Frederick A. Pottle was an eminent scholar and biographer of James Boswell.
