Dust Jacket Condition: dj. Limited Edition. Number 53 of 300 numbered and inscribed copies. Octavo. 19cm. Publisher's blue cloth titled in gilt to spine. Dustjacket. Some light sunning and wear to extremities of the cloth, with a few little spots of soilng in places, a strong copy in a bright, clean pictorial dustjacket with some shallow wear and chipping to edges and some unsightly tape residue to the verso very effectively securing a long closed tear that extends through the front flap and across the front panel; it sounds horrible, it isn't ideal, but the visible damage to the front panel is slight. Internally clean, top corner of front flyleaf missing. Inscribed by the author to the limitation page; "To W.H. Leonard, I hope my stories will always please you, E. Everett Evans" The bookplate of W.H. Leonard is present to the front pastedown. The inscription appears to be generic across several copies of the book, it is likely that they were inscribed from a pre-order or subscriber's list and then mailed out to the recipients. An interesting piece of classical space opera sci-fi centred around a protagonist who can not only read minds, but also control them in various ways. With an introduction by E.E. "Doc" Smith. Signed.
