Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 6th Printing. Hardcovers with dustjackets, 2 volume set with dustjackets and slipcase, "a complete survey of human biology, covering the entire life of a human being from the moment of conception to death - written expressly for the layman - the highly original and instructive photographs and drawings, over 450 in number, add tremendously to the book's clarity and usefulness," both books are in excellent condition, the former owner's address label on the inside of the front cover is the only remarkable flaw, each of the gold-colored jackets has a horizontal crease around the center, the spines have moderate tanning, moderate rubbing and a bit of edge-wear also, the original prices (13.75) are present and professional (removable) mylar covers are included, the original slipcase is tanned on the top and bottom edge, some seam-splitting also but the slipcase remains intact.
