Original marbled endpapers restored at gutters. Dedicatory inscription to blank front endpage dated 1868. Printed by Mercier and Chervet. Boards are soiled, and worn to edges, ownership signature, occasional foxing otherwise a clean and sound copy of this edition which is often referred to as "The Gosden Edition" as his imprint is on some of the plates but not published under his name.
