The data in this book served two purposes, as a Manual for Riggers, Instructors, and Inspectors; and to give the student a general knowledge of tools and jigs employed in airplane construction and repair, and details of construction which are common to most airplanes. Contents include Tools for Airplane Repair and Assembly, Constructional Details Common to Most Airplanes, Airplane Covering, Wood for Airplane Construction, Propellers, Airplane Inspection, Curtiss JN4-D (90-100 H.P. Curtisss 0.X.5), Thomas-Morse S-4-C Secut (100 Gnome or 80 LeRhone), DeHavilland-4 (Liberty "12"). A good copy with wrappers chipped at edges, foxing, yellowing and staining at page edges and inside endpapers. octavo, printed wrappers, bound with brass tacks.
