Octavo. 461 pages. The most detailed record of Rhode Island politics and organization in the midst of the Depression. Most copies ended up in the hands of legislators, lobbyiests (who had a very limited influence in the Depression) as well as public libraries. This copy clearly was never used and is in fine condition. The Biographical Reference section (p. 230-460) lists every minor judge, mayor, as well as the movers and shakers outside of the world of government and politics. Fine copy bound in green cloth, centrally stamped in gilt with lettering gilt, two embossed floral designs. An exceptionally nice copy.
