Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. March Violets was written by Philip Kerr and this is his debut novel. The book was published by Viking in 1989 and is a First Edition with the requisite number line. It's the British First Edition. It is 8 1/2" by 8 3/4" and has 246 pages. It is NOT an ex-library copy and both the book and the dust jacket are in very good + condition. I don't believe that anyone has read the book. It DOES have a remainder mark at the bottom of the block of pages and the pages ARE beginning to yellow a bit. This book introduced Bernie Gunther to historical fiction (it's set in Berlin in 1936) . . . and Philip Kerr to the literary world. Thank you!.

The books, which include "March Violets," "The Pale Criminal," and "A German Requiem," are known for their rich historical detail, intricate plots, and exploration of the dark and morally complex aspects of Nazi-era Germany.
