Bottom edge with creasing, short tears, and just a bit of loss (not affecting text), very good. A scathing review of the book *Marihuana Problems*, an analysis of 77 prisoners by 17 doctors published by the New York City Mayor's Committee on Marihuana. The report seems to have found marijuana's effects rather benign, and the unnamed reviewer paints the study as damaging and unscientific. They write that "a recent tragedy, the case of the hotel bell boy who killed a federal guard in Oklahoma City while under the influence of marihuana, is more eloquent testimony concerning the dangers of the drug," and urge readers to "regard marihuana as a menace wherever it is purveyed." First published in the Editorial Department of *The Journal of the American Medical Association*, Vol. 127, April 28, 1945. Printed on very thin paper, *OCLC* locates no copies of this offprint.
