Holz analysiert verschiedene Fallbeispiele des von ihm so bezeichneten nationalen Antisemitismus und gewinnt daraus Hypothesen bezüglich des nationalen Antisemitismus, die er dann wiederum anhand anderer Fallbeispiele überprüft. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Hausarbeit liegt auf der Frage, ob die Judenfeindschaft Grattenauers bereits als Teil des modernen Antisemitismus gewertet werden sollte und dieser somit vordatiert werden müsste. Als Vergleichsmaßstab dienen hier einerseits die Hypothesen, die Holz in seiner Untersuchung von 6 Fallbeispielen generieren konnte, und andererseits der Vergleich mit dem prototypischen Vertreter des modernen Antisemitismus, Wilhelm Marr. Die genannte Schrift Marrs wird hierzu ebenfalls auf die Hypothesen Holz¿ hin überprüft.Da diese Hausarbeit mehrere Texte untersucht, greift sie nicht auf den Großteil der analytischen Methoden Holz¿ zurück, sondern überprüft alleine die von ihm generierten Hypothesen anhand der Texte Grattenauers und des Texts Marrs auf ihre Gültigkeit.Die in den Jahren 1791 und 1803 erschienenen, gegen das Judentum gerichteten Schriften Carl Wilhelm Friedrich Grattenauers stellen bedeutende Beispiele für den Antisemitismus an der Schwelle vom 18. zum 19. Holz analysiert verschiedene Fallbeispiele des von ihm so bezeichneten nationalen Antisemitismus und gewinnt daraus Hypothesen bezüglich des nationalen Antisemitismus, die er dann wiederum anhand anderer Fallbeispiele überprüft. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Hausarbeit liegt auf der Frage, ob die Judenfeindschaft Grattenauers bereits als Teil des modernen Antisemitismus gewertet werden sollte und dieser somit vordatiert werden müsste.
