An outstanding copy of this Travis McGee novel, this first US hardcover edition preceding the first UK edition by one month; this edition somewhat uncommon compared to the first UK, particularly in this condition; rare signed. This copy is in very good condition showing only some minor wear and sunning to the board edges, moderate rubbing to the board edges, particularly the spine head, and some light spotting to the exterior text block; housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows some light rubbing to the edges and corners, some mild creasing with a couple of short closed tears to the edges, and a tiny dark stain to the front panel. Overall, a nicely preserved copy, made unique by MacDonald's signature.
