Lacking the calf label otherwise complete. P162 has margin notes in a faded ink but neat hand and some calculations not affecting the text, contemporary to the printing. A fine copy. RARE BOOK that has with just a few listings at auctions. A FINE COPY in fine condition. PLEASE EMAIL FOR PHOTOS. The binding appears to be contemporary with the original end-papers bearing the same watermarks and the text block. No copy traced with with four plates present. [Andrew Motte is well known for his translation of Isaac Newton's Principia into English in 1729 that is still available today].

VG-: Wear to the edges and corners. Wear to the boards. Fraying at the top and bottom of the spine. The boards and pasted end pages are separate from the pages, which remain bound together well and are simply laid inside. Previous owners' names in ink on the front end pages. Slight tanning to the margins of the pages. Majority clean body pages. Solid binding, clean images.
