Starrett Company of Athol, Massachuetts. Firm established 1880, and at the point of publication of this catalogue, had locations in New York City (83 Park Avenue, Corner West Broadway), Chicago (17 N. Jefferson Street), and London (35, 36, 37, Upper Thomas St., E.C. 4). Catalogue prepared for farmers, contractors, carpenters, millwrights, masons, and similar craftsman. Frontis: photographs of founder L.S. Starrett, and buildings dated 1880, 1894, circa publication of this catalogue; building photo carries the caption: "The largest plant in the World. Devoted Exclusively to the Manufacture of Precision Tools, Hack Saw Blades, Steel Tapes and Dial Indicators". A historical record.
