The tale is of a boy, Ince Memed, growing up in a rural village on central Anatolia who escapes the tyranny of a brutal lock landlord by becoming a bandit hiding out in the rough country of the Taurus mountains. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a mark to the front end paper. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in near fine condition with a darkened spine. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
