Y étaient présentées des oeuvres de Maurice Thiriet (création d'Oedipe Roi sur un texte de Jean Cocteau, le poète étant lui-même récitant lors de ce concert), Jean Martinon (Stalag IX), Albert Roussel (3e symphonie) et Olivier Messiaen (Les Offrandes oubliées). "Mon cher Maître, Je tiens à vous dire encore tous mes remerciements pour votre merveilleuse interprétation des "Offrandes oubliées" dimanche dernier à la Société. Ledébut était expressif à souhait, - le milieu était d'un dynamisme véhément et vous l'avez conduit avec une fougue, une fièvre étonnantes !! - la fin était aussi tout à fait ce qu'il fallait : sonorité éthérée, mouvement ultra-lent, nuances fines et sensibles - ! J'étais ravi. Merci ! Vous avez remarquablement présenté aussi les uvres de mes amis [Jean] Martinon et [Maurice] Thiriet que j'ai réentendues avec joie.
