Mickey Mouse Library Games (4 results)

Unbound. Condition: Good. Lacks volumes 1 and 4, as well as the bus box that originally accompanied the set. Two seams split with one on Three Little Pigs box repaired with clear tape. 2 5/8 x 1 7/8. Circa 1940, based on the movies included (Pinocchio was released in 1940, the others in the 1930s). Each card features a notable character, a number, and a suit (though these do not seem to follow the traditional suits). An interesting bit of vintage Disney history.

No Binding. Condition: Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Very nice boxed set of 6 card games based on Disney characters and stories. Each boxed game has 48 cards and its own set of instructions. the 6 boxes are all in great shape as is the larger box which houses them. 77 years old and in great shape. No abuse, no markings, tears etc.

6 vols. 2-3/4 x 1-3/4 inches (each vol.), playing cards enclosed in matchbox-style box, in publishers case. Slight rubbing at extremities; very nice. Printed instructions for each game enclosed in each box.

Six children's card games in their original illustrated boxes, labelled vol. 1-vol. 6, and the original red cardboard case with "Mickey Mouse Library of Games" in an embossed silver-on-black paper label across the front. Individual card boxes are 6.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm. (2.5 x 1.75 x 1 inch). The whole set in the case is 15 x 7 x 5 cm. (6 x 2.75 x 2 inches). Each game has its folded instruction sheet copyrighted 1946. Contents: v.1, Donald Duck game with 49 cards -- v.2, Pinocchio game with 34 cards -- v.3, Mickey Mouse game with 48 cards -- v. 4, Bambi game with 50 cards -- v. 5, Three Little Pigs game with 53 cards -- v. 6, Snow White game with 54 cards. An uncommon Walt Disney item. In Good Condition: old tape repair of all game boxes (slight loss of illustrated paper on boxes for vols. 1, 2, and 4); vol. 2 lacking 10 cards (there are no cards numbered 2 or 9); vol. 5 lacking one card (a no. 6); vol. 3 instruction sheet has old tape repair; cards show wear with occasional creasing; old tape repair of box for the set at front corners; Mickey Mouse label is intact.
