Oversized hard cover, Poor, edges scuffed, spine missing, bds generally age-marked and worn, 'Mickey' written on rear bd and childish biro scribble to btm of rear bd, childish writing, scribbling etc. all over endpapers, inscripts to ffep and rep, one on rep dated 1937, ;belongs to' filled in neatly, contents sound and tight, no colour plates, many two-tone and b/w illustrations throughout, pges tanned with age-marks in places, one or two small closed tears to margins and two pges have small corner piece missing, does not detract from text, unpaginated.

Ownership page complete in pencil in 1938; slight rubbing to extremities; tight and sound in a with a chip at the bottom of the spine affecting the imprint,several long closed tears and some other light edgewear.

Condition: Used - Good. Good hardback. Not dated, c. 1937. A very rare title with 3 colour plates. Pages yellowed with a few spots of foxing. 'Belongs to' completed with gift inscription dated 1938. Sellotape repairs to top edge, back side of frontispiece. Vertical crease in title page. A handful of illustrations previously coloured in, partially erased. Some pages hand-numbered at bottom edge. Some discolouration to rear free endpaper. Pictorial boards worn at edges; spine appears rebacked using most of original creased spine; small losses at head and foot.
