"A full program of midget auto racing is scheduled for the Hippodrome Stadium Sunday at 8pm. The Hippodrome is located at 21st South and 8th West. Seven big events are on the card which is the second big midget program since completion of remodeling of the stadium." - Salt Lake Telegram (8/23/1947).
