Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Undated [c1930s]. Black leatherette bindings, greenish printed titles and decoration to spines, marbled endpapers. Each volume with b/w pictorial frontis. Original dark-stained plywood bookcase. Condition: Very Good. All volumes complete, intact, binding and hinges firm. Covers clean, spine titles bright and legible, apart from Macbeth which is somewhat faded. The top edge and top half inch of the foreedges are tanned, this being the portion that shows above the shelves. This tanning does not continue onto the leaves, which are clean and bright. Bookcase in very good, firm condition. Volume Size: 2x1.5in / 5x4cm. Bookcase: 9x8x3in / 23x20x8cm. Combined Weight: 1.1kg.
