Hardcover. Condition: near fine +. First edition. Folio (171/2" x 13-3/4"). 14 unbound sheets are within a fold over white paper enclosure. The sheets consist of a title page, 12 black & white photo collage reproductions (titled on versos), and a colophon leaf. The paper enclosure is attached to a brown cloth portfolio, lettered in light blue, that, in turn, is laid into the publisher's matching brown cloth clamshell box. This edition is limited to 250 numbered copies, signed and numbered on the colophon by Toshiko Okanoue. The back of the outer clamshell box has a small (1/4") flaw/gouge on its back cover. The exposure of Okanoue's collages exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, coupled with Okanoue's inclusion in The History of Japanese Photography created a great demand for her work among private and institutional collectors. "With most of her original collages now in the holdings of museums. we are pleased to announce a limited-edition portfolio of Okanoue's work." (Publisher).
