Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First American edition. Original tan cloth, lettered in black to the front panel and spine. 8vo - 310 pp, 6 pp of ads. The book remains very clean, bright and solid. The complete dust jacket shows some minor edge-wear, with shallow creasing along the top edge of the front panel. Reginald Francis Foster. "He was an amateur detective of the 'arm-chair' type, for he seemed to be able to solve most of the problems which were brought to him in the quiet of our Chelsea rooms (p. 8). Near Fine / Very Good.
