Edges of of DJ and joints and leading edges rubbed. DJ edges have several small open and closed tears. Private bookplate opposite half-title page and owners name and details to half-title page.

1st edn. 8vo. Original red cloth (page edges rather spotted - otherwise VG), dustwrapper (repaired tears at edges - in protective cover, not price clipped). Pp. xii + 227, illus with pictorial endpapers (no inscriptions).

In overall very good used condition in a good dust jacket with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dj rubbed to edges and faded to spine (now protected); brown cloth boards a touch rubbed to edges but remain overall clean and crisp. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotation or inscriptions; tanning to page-ends but text and illustrated endpapers bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.

Brick colored publisher's cloth with beige titles on spine and a beige decoration of crossed swords over a maple leaf on lower right corner of cover. Some bumping to edges, else in very good shape. Un-clipped dust jacket (original price $3.00) has sunned spine, wear on edges, chips on the top and bottom of spine, and one 1 x ¾ inch piece missing from the back bottom corner. It now looks fine protected by a brodart archival jacket. No writing inside save for author's graceful autograph in blue ink. An interesting account of behind-the-scenes maneuvering during WW II from the vantage point of the Chief of the Canadian Army Public Relations. Signed by Author(s).
