Double folio. (4) pp. A number of ads illustrated with vignettes. Ads for all manner of goods, services, and property, including clothes, produce, insurance, legal services, real estate, river steamship travel, patent medicines, a long list of school books offered by S.W. Allen, etc.; also includes two long notices of named enslaved men, with details of sales, an ad for eight "Negroes for Sale," and an ad for the newly arrived slave trader Walter L. Campbell for upcoming sales of enslaved "from Baltimore." News includes financial notes, imports and exports, ship sailings and arrivals, hints of war with Mexico reports from New York and Washington, etc. Old folds, but very good.
