Fifth edition, third printing (per copyright page). [8], 184 pages plus 27 foldout b/w plates. Hardcover: H 26.75cm x L 18cm. No dust jacket. Green cloth rubbed; gilt lettering to spine and front board mostly rubbed/flaked away. Past owner's name boldly written in ink on front pastedown; toning and some soiling to endpapers; light foxing/toning to leaves with some occasional soiling. Binding lightly stressed; cloth binding tape reinforces binding between page 184 and opposing leaf where plate section initiates. As a lagniappe laid-in at rear endpapers are eleven Kalmbach locomotive and car plan folding plates having copyright dates for 1947 and 1948 and all within a Kalmbach mailing envelope postmarked November 1948 (so perhaps sold separately as an update or supplement). Please note that this book has an approximate shipping weight of 3 pounds (1.36 kg) and may require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail. {TradeCat-Shelf#2}.
