Spotting to some plates as well as some of the text pages. Pin holes to corners of some plates suggesting that it has been used practically. Plate 1 has short tear to fore-edge and unfortunately half of plate 12 is missing (torn out) otherwise complete with title page to rear of the 9th. division as well as binding instructions. 510mm x 370mm (20" x 15"). 248pp. Illustrated with 52 double page wood engravings as well as numerous figures in the text.
