Clean, tight and unmarked in clean unworn blue cloth covers just slightly dull. Unclipped jacket clean but spine darkened with ragged ends and small hole to centre where a number of tears have been internally closed, as have several other edge nicks and short tears, will add protective sleeve when ordered as jacket scarce and has informative text. The star subject in the card guessing task used was Basil Shackleton whose performance was remarkably accurate, with another successful subject, as Mrs Stewart, also being discussed. Soal was a senior lecturer in pure mathematics at University Cololege London, so extensive mathematical analysis is provided.
