A rare book in the Modern Italian Art series of the early work of the Italian artist Sante Monachesi. Orange hardback with white & black lettering to front. Measures 10.25" x 7.75". Text by three different critics in Italian, French and English.Unpaginated. 8 colour and 12 b&w plates. The white dustwrapper is present and depicts one of the colour plates (muri ciechi) Four closed nicks and a little chipping at the extremities, else VG+. What makes this book desitrable is that the artist has reproduced the picture from the dustwrapper in blue biro on the front cover of the book inside and added a signed inscription. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).
