Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Blue cloth binding with gilt print and design on the spine. Gilt on the top page edging. There are a very few soil spots in the text. There is a light crack in the binding in the middle of the book however there are no loose or missing pages. There is a name label on the inside front cover and a name printed on the front end paper. There is very light rubbing on the cover corner tips and spine ends. Waverley Novels Illustrated Cabinet Edition. Volume II (2) only.

The Waverley Novels Border Edition, vol X. Scott's novel set in the 1550s at the start of the the Scottish Reformation and which features supernatural elements in the form of the White Lady of Avenel. 725 grams.
