A tight and nice "Thirteen Moons" reprint of this 1969 children's tale by this prolific author (1919-2012), best known for "My Side of the Mountain" and the Newbery Medal-winning "Julie of the Wolves." She boldly inscribes and signs this copy in black fineline on the title page: "Best wishes, Nancy / Jean Craighead George." First of this new illustrated edition.
