SOFTCOVER. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. A pencil inscription of the front blank fly-leaf reads 'Peter Barker-Hull / from Morice Lypsi'. The book is undated but the bibliographies state it was printed in 1935. No publisher or gallery is stated, but Lipsi had an exhibition at one of the Hotel Drouot galleries in 1935, and their a…ddress, 8 Rue de la Liberte, has been pencilled in at the rear (in what looks very like Lipsi's handwriting) so this is almost certainly the catalogue for that exhibition. 4to in wrappers with printed over-wrapper (as issued), 6pp text in French plus 27 single-sided b/w plates, all on thick and stiff art paper. The original plain tissue cover has been folded and loosely inserted . [CONDITION: An extremely well preserved FINE very clean and tight unmarked copy (covers and page-block edges slightly tanned, mild crease to spine). An excellent copy ] .
