Full Title: The Morning Exercise Methodized; or certain chief Heads and Points of the Christian Religion Opened and Improved in Divers Sermons, by Several Ministers of the City of London, in the Monthly Course of the Morning Exercise at Giles in the Fields, May 1659. Rare publication containing material from the closing months of the Commonwealth, published in the year of the Restoration. Dedicated to Charles, Earl of Warwick, and others. Condition of the text block is very good, with light foxing, complete at 700pp - the typesetter has messed up the page numbering after p.676 but the pages are in the correct sequence. This book has been used. There are ink annotations, notably the list of sermons at the beginning, where the name of the minister delivering the sermon has been added. A number of pages have been folded over at the corner but I have identified only one with corner loss (but no text loss). This book was in very poor condition when it came to me and has been professionally rebound by the Chelsea Bindery in London in a plain full leather binding. Rice paper repair to binding edge of frontispiece. Happy to provide additional photographs or answer any enquiries.
