    Hardcover. Condition: Good +. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Tan buckram binding with staining on top edges all around. Pages are shaded (yellowing). Signed "Harriette Simpson" on front free flyleaf. Another written name and statement as to sister Lucy Johnson on fixed front flyleaf. Laminated picture of Simpson as young lady who worked way through college as waitress laid in. Jacket is missing paper at top and bottom spine edge with most of Covici Friede missing at bottom (block lettering- restorable). Also missing paper on front flap fold and chipping at all four corners. Signed by Author(s).
