Story of George and the narrowboat. On publication page in blue ink the author has written: 'To Joseph with best wishes' then signed it and dated 9.5.97. Condition: Boards good colour and condition, see my pic. Heather Buchanan's signature the 'an' at the end of her name has slightly blotted and there is slight blue ink on the title page opposite. Otherwise appears unused. Clean, binding firm, colour VG. Overall VGC.

This is a nice original signed piece of artwork by the well-known and celebrated children's book artist Harold Jones, this piece titled "The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse" was done for his retelling of Aesop's Fables published in 1981 mounted and framed, the artwork measures 8cm by 14cm approx., the frame measures 40cm by 25cm approx provenance, this piece was exhibited in the Sally Hunter Fine Art Exhibition of Harold Jones's art at Halkin Arcade, London in 1990, with her label to the reverse of the frame in good condition, The picture would have to be removed from the frame for overseas shipping.
