There was obviously a Willson dynasty at Hertford Goal since a Cornelius Willson was govenor in the late 18th century. endpapers browned, bookplate Walter P. Watmough on front pastedown, ink inscription Wm. Willson ffep, waterstain to frontis, pages lightly cockled, extremities browned, sporadic foxing and some browning, occasional ink marginalia, good in maroon cloth gilt, recased in contemporary cloth, original spine relaid, extremities worn, boards rubbed, some markings, good. please see images supplied.
