Soft cover. Condition: Fine. First American Edition/First Printing. This is a copy of the Uncorrected Proof of "My Name is Red" which has been SIGNED by Orhan Pamuk on the title page! This is not the more common Advance Reader's Edition - this precedes that and does include the bound-in cover page which was subsequently changed. Winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2006, "My Name Is Red" was Winner of the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. Part murder mystery, part love story - set amid the perils of religious repression in sixteenth-century Istanbul. Orhan Pamuk's "My Name Is Red" is at once a fantasy and a philosophical puzzle, a kaleidoscopic journey to the intersection of art, religion, love, sex, and power. Signed by Author(s).
