He was employed by Hoberg Paper Mills and a director of that mill when it was purchased by Procter & Gamble. He organized Naus' Ltd. and was involved with WFRV-TV, and served many years as director of the Peoples Marine Bank. He was Moderator of both the Wisconsin Conference of Congregational Churches, and the United Church of Christ. In the field of history he was president of the Brown County Historical Society, co-chairman of the Celebration of the 350th Anniversary of the first visit of an explorer to Wisconsin, and co-founder of the Voyageur, a magazine of history of Northeastern Wisconsin. Mr. Burridge is a member of the Association for Great Lakes Marine History, the Great Lakes Historical Society, the State Historical Society of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society, and the Manitowoc Maritime Museum.
