Comprises 2 blank pages after the endpapers, an illustration of a stonemason, title page with two vignette illustrations, 2pp text, 13pp illustrations,2pp text, 9pp illustrations, list of recent marble contracts, vignette "finis" page, 2 blank pages. All pages printed on recto only. Of the 22 illustrations 16 are by Walcot and 6 by Brangwyn. They depict the Italian quarries and the firms Kennington works. Small sta, 1930

Oblong 4to, hardcover, paper label at front, 2 blank leaves, (1), title page (plate), 2 leaves with text, 13 plates, 2 leaves with text, 9 plates, 1 leaf with text, all printed on one side only. The Avenue Press bookplate, spine bruised at the edges, unknown initials written in pen at the top of it. In good condition to say the least, pages clean and free of marks. Book published as an advertisement by J Whitehead and Sons Ltd., marble importers.
