New York, 1857, new edition with additions; poor condition, reading copy only; leather covered boards; no dust jacket; front board through title page detached and a small piece of the leather is scraped off; back strip is cracked with loss at the ends of the spine and edges of the title box are chipped off; heavy edge and corner wear to boards, rear board has a small scrape in leather also; second front end paper, Compendium and title page are attached to each other with tape, but detached from the rest of the text block; publisher's advertisement through page 22 are holding on by a string; the rest of the text block is bound with some gutter gaps; interior unmarked but there is some sporadic light foxing and soil smudges throughout; owner names on front end papers; name on rear paste down; rear end paper has a hole torn at the hinge; 12mo - over 6 3/4" - 7 3/4" Tall; 228 pages.

Condition: Good. No Edition Remarks. 274 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with decorations. Binding remains firm. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends.

Black design and bands on the front cover and spine which becomes blind stamped on the back cover. Covers exhibit light wear, soiling and bumping to corners and spine ends. Light wear, bumping and soiling to edges. Light wear to hinges. Light shelf wear and soiling to covers, spine and edges. Heavy foxing to page ends, ffep's, bfep's thru the table of contents page. Occasional foxing and yellowing to text which is otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Previous owners name and date on the upper edge of the ffep. Chapters are titled The Paradise of God, Our Position On The Earth, The Lord's Ministry, The Power, Christ In Heaven The Centre and The Testimony. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.
