Plain dark blue boards with medium blue cloth…quarter binding, silver lettering on spine; plain ivory end pages. Book has very slight spine lean; binding is tight; head and heel of spine lightly creased; lightly bumped upper corners and lightly soiled page edges; slight discoloration of boards at top and bottom 1/4"; interior clean & unmarked. Jacket comes close to a G+ grade: it has chipping at spine, upper corner of front panel and flap fold ends, a 2" horizontal tear starting at front flap fold in middle of front panel with a 1/2 centimeter square missing at the fold, three 1" closed tears with associated creases at top of jacket and some loss of material at head of spine, a 3/4" long scrape on rear panel near spine; now in an archival cover; there is Scotch Magic tape on reverse side at several spots where jacket has damage, most of which is at top of spine; publisher's original price of "$13.95" listed on the upper right corner of front flap. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book or jacket such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance. No remainder mark, no previous owner markings or inscriptions, not price clipped, not a book club edition, not a former library book.
