Condition: Good. 1912. No edition remarks. 230 pages. No dust jacket. Pictorial cloth covered boards. Colour plates and black and white illustrations throughout by Gordon Robinson. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Dedication to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front. Boards are slightly bowed.

(illustrator). 1st Thus. 230 pages with an advert leaf at the rear and 12 full page colour plates by Gordon Robinson and vignette line drawings by him on almost every page, light blue cloth titles in black, a little light handling, a brown spot at bottom edge of page 75, a small ink inscription on FFEP, "Love Beryl 1940", contents clean and tight. Good+ to VG.

End pages have moderate age-toning and smudging with previous owners writing. Page edges have moderate age-toning and smudging with foxing. Interior pages are age-toned and smudged. This could have light cosmetic flaws, but remains in good condition. No dust jacket included with this book. Secure packaging for safe delivery.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Reprint. 230pp +[1] adverts, with many illustrations in the text, plus the 12 colour plates. With the author's signed 1941 gift inscription to the front free endpaper. Contents clean and fresh. Both front and back endpapers have small corner stains from former sellotape which had been used to secure a plastic cover. The upside of this is that the blue cloth binding is in very good condition, clean and bright, spine ends crimped. A very nice copy. Condition: Poor. Gentle shelf wear, with small splits to spine ends. Light knocks to corners, and gentle crease in front. Inscription on flysheet. Light tannig and foxing throughout, contents all legible. A few pages have storage creases to corners.
