Munro Leaf gave them Ferdinand The Bull among others and Ludwig Bemelmans gave the world his Madeline books and his glorious illustrations. But Noodle is the only time that the two ever collaborated on a children's book. Noodle is charming and subtly teaches a child to like himself as he is. And yes. There really was a "Noodle". It was Munroe Leaf's dog. Small chips and closed tears to the dust jacket, unclipped ($1.50). Pages and lithographs are very clean. First printing. 10½" - 8". book.
