Original wraps. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 5 1/2 X 8 Inches. 248 PP. First edition (not numbered) signed and inscribed by Ionesco on the half-title. Eugene Ionesco was a Romanian playwright known for his treatment of the absurdity of modern life. He was one of the foremost figures of the French avant-garde theatre in the 20th century. For some reason there is an ink "K.K.K." on the first page. Light toning and some moderate wear to covers and spine. Text in french. Signed.
