Laid in: anonymous review of Notes: `Mr. Swinburne's defence', from Pall Mall gazette, Nov. 2, 1866, p. 1365-66, folded and full longitudinal tear repaired with glued paper strip over irrelevant `Occasional notes'. Also includes photographic print of attractive sketch of a London town house, perhaps Swinburne's, with carriage and dog in front. [2nd edition]. Binding is Pamphlet.
